The Clitoris and the Vaginal Orgasms
Sally Kohn: Freud did a lot of damage to the clitoris, didn't he? He's born out of this culture. What you've kind of got is this idea that the clitoris is almost like a rogue agent that needs to be got rid of. This obsession develops with pleasure only through vaginal penetration. But 75% of women say they do not achieve orgasm without clitoral stimulation. And so therefore for women, penetration is not the default orgasm mechanism.
