Is There a Multidisciplinary Challenge?
There used to be a course at MIT called 6001, where you would actually create layers of abstractions in a computer language called scheme. Part of the abstraction is using some of the tools of abstraction that we all learned through computer science. Some of it is just being able to think about a way to succinctly state and frame what the problem is.
