The Importance of Positive Feedback
Jen Kress: I have one memory of having been told in my feedback to smile more. She says there's a lot of pressure to say and do the right thing or at least say and do not the wrong thing. The only advice she would give is think about the language you use, especially if it's going into the area of constructive. "I can't picture Kress sitting in a performance evaluation with his manager and someone telling him to smile more"
