Do Not Cause My Disciples to Stumble

Some have suggested that when jesus says these little ones and there might be a couple other references in other gospels that impact this perspective. So it is possible that jesus motions to his disciples and says, do not cause my disciples to stumble. I don't necessarily take that position, primarily, i think, in the context of matthew here,. i'm coming right off to the story of having faith like a child.
