The First Macdonald in 1991
i'm told you were there when the first macdonalds opened in 19 91. There was a huge crowd of people but such a sense of excitement, you know, smiles from the russians. It took me three hours to actually get in to macdonalds. I mean, the cue went all the way round pushkin square, i think three times. And it's desperately sad that sense of hope that something positive happen has just dissipated.
