i grew up in a family where, for most of my life, you would never have reached that point. My family would have reacted with horror to they just woalt sa it was the right thing to pay for it. And i think that's what kant worries about, you sort of slippery slope to justifyig any sort of behaviour. Once you get in a habit, going back to aristotle ri the habits being so important,. If you are judging whether you're going to steal something, or obey rules in general, or tell the truth - if you're not doing this individual calculation every time... That means you're not in the habit of just telling the truth all the time
