The Importance of Innovation in the Utility Sector

The theme that we chose for our first cycle was demand side flexibility, which means what happens at the edge of the grid where we're using power to change how the entire system works. I'm interested in how we can reduce the interconnection and integration costs of new technologies. And so what are the creative ways that we can start to deploy technology to support the integration of all of these different assets? That to me has been a big focus.
