How Do You Feel About Twitter?

Twitter is an interesting tool for me, in that it provides a certain amount of value. But i'm also really aware of one of the things that's been great over the past couple of months is not having this source of constant distraction just even available. I almost wish there was a way on twitter that i could only see at messages from people that i follow. And ike, i realize the val you that i get out of twitter is being ambiently aware of what people in my life whom i'm interested in are doing.
