The Cost of a Libertarian Approach to Public Policy
i'm a moral realist and i think there are some like moral facts about how humans ought to be and what humans ought to do. Sometimes when people hear that especially some young people these days they think that what i'm recommending is basically fascism or something like that christian nationalism maybe what i'm advocating for is in uh an authoritarian states that's gonna micromanage our lives so no i don't think that's right. As a matter of public policy maybe what we've discovered is um a libertarian kind of hands-off approach is probably the best way. We should let communities decide for themselves how they want to live, he says.
