The Multiple Meanings of Genocide

Can genocide be applied to different cases where there's different degrees of intent? Can genocide have different meanings historically, politically, legally, sociologically, anthropologically. And then a related question, if we do have this inner disciplinarity, which I do think should be celebrated, can this also along with, you know, different meanings lead to the risk of conceptual stretching, excuse me, of the term genocide? So my answer, a short answer would be yes, we can have it. We do have it, so it clearly can exist.
