Basil Zaharoff's Man of Arms

There's very little specific information on individual acts of bribery that Zaharoff may or may not have carried out because he burnt all of his records when he was an old man. But there were folks at the time who paid attention to it Basil and his fellow arms dealers were doing to Europe and the rest of the world. And some of them had the courage to speak up. On March 18th, 1914, on the very brink of the coming disaster, Philip Snowden, disease-racked crippled socialist labor leader, Rosenkommens to make a speech. When he had done, he had rocked the British Empire with his disclosures.
