Victor Davis Hanson: Two police officers were murdered near where I live. He says Connecticut's governor signed a law that would really disempower cops if they expose themselves to prosecution. The same thing was passed in many states by the people who called for defunding police, he says. So Victor, this is a political issue. It's a moral issue. And it's course, of course, tied into the elections.
