The Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge
The first part of the verse describes the regular trees in two ways. Nachmadlimare, vitovlimachal, pleasant to behold and good for food. The second part gives us a pair, tree of life and tree of knowledge. Rabbi Forman had already made a connection between NachMadlimare and the tree of life. It was like these descriptors were instructing us how to embody the trees.
