Hedge Fund Investors Are Their Own Worst Enemies

Hedge fund investors tend to be their own worst enemy, more so than in public markets. Investors under perform funds by between three and seven % relative to bench mark indexes. The other challenge for heage funds is capacity constraints. Black rock expects a return of 7 point 8% net of fees on the credit swiss hedge fund index.
