The Supreme Court has not had a code of ethics, a written code of ethics. Chief Justice John Roberts is refusing to testify before Congress about ethics. CNN found that lawyers for Neil Gorsuch's law firm have appeared in numerous cases while he was on the bench. Clarence Thomas failed to recuse himself from a 2004 appeal tied to his good friend Harlan Crow. He also accepted lavish gifts and very fancy vacations for 20 years without disclosing them.
