The Problem of Multi National Taxes in the United Nations
Only a handful of jurisdictions are responsible for the great majority of tax losses suffered by everyone else. A lot of countries will say publicly that they are trying to fix the system, while privately working to prevent it being effective. They don't want to pay your taxes any more than they want to pay taxes in malage or in india. You know, there's a really good argument for us all to get together and sort this out. But as long as it's left in the o cl rather than in the united nations, the risk is that we just keep banging our heads against the same wall.
