An individualistic culture looks at a mountain or a forest and says, what can i take from this mountain and forest that benefits me? Colonialism is pure and utter individualism. It doesn't think about the environment. It thinks about exploitation. If you go to the amazon rain forest and take all the trees, then the forest is gone. This isn't a symbeatic here.
