"I see this all as a signal detection problem. We want to get hits, we want to correctly identify the true criminal," she says. "We make two kinds of errors, type one error where you miss the real criminal, let him go" The death penalty is irrational and morally corrupt, Amanda writes. She thinks it's on death row; hopefully that hasn't come yet.
