Jacob’s writing focuses on the tech industry; particularly on the political activism of tech billionaires and their collective efforts to buy the U.S. government and instrumentalize it in support of their nefarious fascist worldview.

In our conversation, we talk about the current state of play a couple weeks into the Trump administration and zoom out to consider how we got here, what the historical precedents for the present moment are, and what we - the disgusted spectators watching it all unfold from the left - might do to prevent the technofascist dystopia from culminating its conquest of our lives.
