Why Do We Cling to Our Bias?

I would much rather be alive today than any Previous time in the history of this country or the world that is the arc of progress. Why do you think so many people persist? In their delusions. I agree with you 100% seeing through that trap should be easy and yet the entire species seems utterly incapable of Doing it So there must be something deep and fundamental or something powerful Preventing it.
