There's no way around the fact that it has to become harder for certain people to get guns. The limitation of the red flag law approach is that you can't perfectly predict in advance who's going to commit crimes. You're not always going to be able to make that showing about someone who in fact is dangerous. Sometimes you can. It will help with the market.
