Functional Programming Languages

There's varying degrees of sort of amount you can buy into functional programming. The smallest degree is just trying to do less mutation and fewer side effects. One level above that is like some sort of functional first framework, maybe where you have like an effect system or something like that. And then finally, you get all the way to language.
