The BBC's Fear of the Past
When parents took their complaints to the BBC in May, they weren't followed up. They didn't get in touch with Huewet Woods for his side of the story. And this again is a familiar element to virtually every BBC crisis. The rest of it is not about the BBC in this case. It's a story of human interest. So it is a story. It's not as big as it has appeared to be. Some people proposed the question, can the BBC recover from this crisis? Of course they can. This one does not threaten the BBC. Beyond that will think they have to answer it yet again.
