From Gnostic cosmology, the Christ is a title. And in the river of Jordan, he was possessed by Christ, the spirit. The spirit obviously came through the aeons and shot into the body of Jesus the man. But I do 100% believe that any religion is the retelling of the same story, just with different faces and a little plot twist here and there.
