How Did Wa Come to Be Red as Aa?
O'neily. On o'nail, i thinks. Sos, the e question. Am, the fact that m, it's the only thing in japanese that's written es ha, but it's actually pronounced what? What? M? And that the reason for this is actually kind of the opposite of the question james asked,. Because it's not thatth the hearing and the heart came to be read as wa, right? Espaciallyons the other way round, because ha used to beread as wa in old japanese - from about the ninth century apparently. That's a very long time ago.
