Let the Earth Breathe
Gardening has been my teacher since crossing over from the land of fashion. I worry, i always worry about gravel. Let the earth breathe. Put plants on it. Let it mulch. Grow something on it that allows it to breathe. Dont don't put a plastic membrane down and then gravel, because you end up badly having to weed it. And nature wants to fill that vacuum. And so why not let it grow to start with? It's fabulous. Getting that excitement, i think, is a very big ask of governments and local authorities and teachers - we can do a lot.
