The New School Is Not for Everyone, but for Any One
Last week, the vice chancellor of the highlands and islands announced his intention to call and iquote vanity courses in the service of work force alignment and supply. The public university is here, quite damagingly, being re invented as a trades school. In such a context, we want to ask how, how higher education can recover those more expansive horizons serving the imagination,. And in so doing, address ecological collapse and restore confidence in participatory democracy.
