The Power of the Placebo Effect

The medical establishment has been proving that the mind can heal the body for over 50 years. The placebo effect is a combination of positive belief and nurturing care. In our Western paradigm, we were conditioned to believe that if somebody in a white coat gives you a pill or a shot or a surgery, that you're going to get better. And those getting the placebo surgery at one point had even better results than the people that got the real surgery.
