The Gift of Being Selfish

Like Netflix, Amazon Prime, they're all run by Silicon Valley now. And so it's like, frustrating for creatives. If you have a gift and you can reach the masses with it, which I believe you can, is it innately being selfish by not putting out there because you're afraid of rejection? That's what I tell basketball players: Make use of your gifts. Some people think, well, it's selfish of me if I try to do it all and it's reflecting on me. But I think it's selfish if you don't, because you've been given this gift.
