The sub minimum wage is at the centre of one of the most important labor battles in the united states. The battle against sub minimum wages was transformed during the covid pandemic, when millions of workers were unable to work. We wanted to see whether the coved crisis might indeed give us an opportunity to move millions off of tip based wages and on to a more humane form of compensation.
