Can My Wife and Not Be My Husband?
The pastor's wife is not gifted how it would be expected in conservative evangelicalism of what a pastor's wife should be able to do, he says. "I get emotional about it because this is my mom too" He asks: What if her pastor would have said, you're gifted for this, your skillfuls? How can your church come alongside you in this? And I just think like as a pastor, our jobs is our job is not just to make our churches great. Our job is to make the name of Jesus Christ great.
