If the universe is expand, and Alex Philopenko is a colleague of mine, we came up together actually in graduate school. But I love that escalator metaphor because if that, if that's right, that puts things into making sense for me. And so if you have an infinite universe that's expanding, right, you'll never reach the edge. For example, the surface of the earth is not infinite. Yet you could just keep walking and never reached the edge. Right.
