Why Buffett Owned Paramount

There are a few things to go over with Paramount that people might not realize. The most likely reason why Buffett would own Paramount is that it's some of the parts is worth more than it's trading for in the market or was, and it's down since then. If you put each individual piece up for auction tomorrow, the company will sell for more than it’s enterprise value. It has one of the top TV networks in the country. There's lots of things where they'd be banned from buying it probably. A lot of companies need those individual assets but desperately want to have them.
