i want to get into that idea a little bit more, of how actually we ended up in a place where we do have this oligarchical state. How did we end up here where we don't really have a democracy, but instead we have this permanent administrative class? Excellent question. And when you look at sort of how we got here, one analogy i like to use is one thing they do in french history, as they number the republics.
