How Firms Internalize Internal Distance Costs
Conrad: A recent working paper called internal geography of firms shows that small and mid sized firms tend to be very graphically concentrated. But what's interesting is that this is significantly less true for large firms. Large firms are much less spatially concentrated compared with the industry by and far, Conrad says.
