The GOP's Exit From the Data Organization Program
Texas along with a number of other red states have passed a bill facilitating the state's exit from the data organization program called Eric. "This is probably the best illustration of right wing conspiracy theories, election deniers and Republican officials all winding up together," says Julian Zelizer. If the point of this bill is to purportedly reduce voter fraud, then how could pulling out of that system do anything but hinder those states ability to identify instances of fraud?
