In his 2015 book, The Moral Art, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character was last coming true? More people in more places have more rights, freedoms, liberties, literacy, education and prosperity than at any time during our species' history. That's evidence none of that is attributed to genes. It's entirely cultural. And so we are by no means at the apex but there is much evidence for progress and many good reasons for optimism.
