How Do You Balance Investing and Covering?

A, i'm very much on the idea of build a machine that can do many things, over and over and over. So if i want to be in like, the consulting and creation space, i want to build out ap companying a team that can do that better than anybody else. The same way goes for investments. How do you balance investing these projects and also covering while you're doing the morning mint? It's like you're covering it on one side, but you're also investing on the other.
