What's the Biggest Challenge for HIPAA?
There's no trade-off with privacy here. We fall under the HIPAA treatment payment and operations use case categories, which is already well established data exchange modalities that don't require patient authorization or consent to do. The US is a weird country. It's the only country in the entire world where the government will set a law but not define standards. So it takes longer for the US to define those standards,. They're oftentimes better because they're much more negotiated upon by multiple stakeholders.
