Is the Torah the Absolute Word of God?
I think of the Torah as a great work of art and is divine in that sense. I don't know whether it's Moses on the mountaintop or the product of editing and piecing together over centuries. My faith is that whatever it is that we've got is a revelation and therefore a work of divinity. If there's anything odd or strange or weird or doesn't look right or is offensive to me, that our, our rabbis also empowered us to take up.
