"I used to take acid just to stay awake to drive from aspen to denver, over the continental divide to go see shows. So so we would, this is like a high school, so we would all haf a hit o acid or something to stay awake and drive through these blizzards in the middle of the winter," he says. "And that was the opening for you, like the ye. Because up until that point, you really hadn't.
