How the Defense Department Negotiated a Common Lisp for AI
The Defense Department sort of issued an ultimate one day and said, okay, you guys have to negotiate a common Lisp. So we took that set of 2000 and they did almost no phone calling on it. They did it almost all on email. And we interviewed some people as well as analyzing over 2000 messages,. We looked at the genres that emerged in them and how, what genres they used and how they changed. I know that I would have done this on my own, but have wanted it to go for ASQ administrative science quarterly - which is the top management journal in general management.
