In 19 12, 300 thousand workers went on strike at som point. Mayday saw a thousand separate strikes and walkouts. The original lena goldfield strike finally ended in august when vast majority of the remaining workers and their families just gave up. And this was by far the largest number since the heady days of 19 o five.
