Every Icon Is a Visual Translation of the Library of Babel

Every icon was just an idea in 19 96, and i was working with john borthwick and others in a project called otta web. And it was the very beginning of putting code on the web. So when that became possible, i started to write little pieces of soft ware to run in the browser. One of the first that i wanted to write was every icon. Because the history of it is, culturally, is quite deep.
