The Wig party was self-organizing and instantly coherent along state lines. If this were to happen now, the split is ideological. The question is whether you're a capitalist who think that we should accommodate slavery as a component of the supply chain. This would be a capitalist party and it's anti-capitalist wing breaking off. And that would make it the enemy of the entire establishment, which did not exist with slavery. So all I can say is that right now I am a chuggy emoji guy on all questions of tactics, policy, what to do next.
