Kyle Smith: I didn't realize the degree to which this was such a rampant problem in the church until I began reporting on Bethlehem Baptist Church. He says there were a lot of people of color who were struggling or wrestling with how they were being treated in a predominantly white church as a person of color. "I did not know this until later that not everyone was in agreement with it" he adds.
