The data collection process and the latency of actually the data coming in, the frequency of the measurements being made, that kind of defines the pace of the process. And then the software layer or the cloud layer of the communications layer shouldn't add too much on top of the data collectionLatency. If you didn't care to measure for three minutes, you probably don't care if you wait another 30 seconds. But here you stay in a limited catalog of use cases which you can handle... What you index to some extent defines what you can query.
