E. Jean Carroll has sued Donald Trump in civil court and the trial started, we are recording this on Wednesday,. They were opening statements and the case is not terribly complicated on the facts. So essentially what Carroll is saying is that in the 1990s, she ran into Donald Trump and a department store. He got her to go with him into a dressing room and again these are Carroll's allegations. She didn't go to the police after the incident happened, she didn't go forward because she was afraid no one would believe her. Both of those friends confirmed that she'd said that or testified it's the wrong word, told New York magazine that she had told that said that.
