Lorraine wilde is a great designer, writer and teacher. She runs green dragon office, a los angeles design studio that focuses on book design for museums, galleries and educational institutions. Lorraine holds a unique position in the design field and has seen it from a lot of different angles. We talk about her time studying at both crambroke and yale, and working for the vignelles in between those two educational experiences. And we also talk about how modernism became the dominant aesthetic in the seventies; why we're still re hashing this modernism post modern debate.
