Louie was a verbal comic in those days, right? Like most Bobville acts weren't like it changed all the time. So even though we think of him as the, you know, the ultimate pantomy missed and the guy who never speaks, there was actually a big verbal and song element. Is that why silent films obviously were silent films and they were successful? But when they were starting to bring in sound, people were like, well, this will never work.
